Typhoons Football is a premier adult semi-football company located in Davenport, Iowa. We are dedicated to providing a fun and competitive environment for football enthusiasts of all skill levels.

We are a family oriented semi pro football team that excels on the field and has a positive impact in our local communities.  Every member of the team will be treated like family as our Angel owner Anne would want.  As a family (team) we can only progress with the presence of love of the game, honesty and respect as we commit ourselves to reaching our full potential. We know that every action must be with the team in mind and an unwavering loyalty to the family must be built in. We are committed to helping each other grow mentally, physically and spiritually.  We are a team built by the community for the community. We are not just your neighbors, friends  and coworkers we are your family!!!

 

Ann Holloway the vision behind this team always believed in being the best you could be no matter what the stakes were. She instilled in not only her children but everyone she came in contact with that there is no obstacle you cannot overcome as long as you believe in yourself. Overcoming a massive heart attack and heart transplant in 2006 and 2007 she started that journey of beating the odds, all while doing it as single mother of four as well as being a first time grandmother, nothing stopped her from attending any event for her kids or family and friends. In 2019 she needed a kidney transplant, received that and continued to be active in the community during the BLM walks as well as her own programs. Her desire to fight through it all brought so much joy to those around her. 

In 2021 she was diagnosed with cancer but those whom she was close to didn’t fear anything because they knew the fighter she was and after witnessing everything else she overcame this would be one more thing she beat. On November 21, 2021 she rang that bell beating cancer. Family and friends celebrated the strength and courage of one of the strongest women we knew. 

Unfortunately on May 14, 2022 it was confirmed that Cancer was back stronger then ever, and on June 1, 2022 Ann took her final breath. This team isn’t solely about being a great player it is to help you becoming stronger than you have ever been mind body and soul.
